The Cold Fury Series is one of my favorite series. Each character has brought a new vibe to the series. Each story different but with the same sweet, sexy feel as the one before.
Sawyer Bennett had me sucked in from the first page and that prologue. That just set the mood for the book and this second chance romance.
I love a good hockey romance and add a second chance romance and it’s a great story. Hawke has never fully recovered from the heartache from seven years past. He may have fooled himself into thinking he has with his playboy ways, but when Vale Campbell walks back into is life after seven years the flames ignite once again.
They were high school sweethearts until one day they weren’t. Hawke was crushed and Vale was hurting. After seven years there’s still misunderstandings and mixed feelings but under it all the truth is they still love each other. They just need to work through their feelings of hurt and get everything on the table.
Sexy. Fun. Touching. Angsty. And absolutely just plain GOOD! I can’t wait to read Max’s story!
