I haven't read very many books by Kennedy Fox, but let me just say that after reading Baby Mine, I am hooked!! This story was so fantastic!!
Hunter and Lennon have quite an interesting relationship, as even though Hunter and Lennon meet first and have an immediate spark......neither of them do anything about it, and that same night she meets his best friend/roommate Brandon, and ends up falling in love with him. My heart truly ached for Hunter, having to be in that situation - being in love with your best friend's girl, but truly wanting him to be happy. Does he make Lennon's life easy? Of course not. Sometimes he was down right mean to her, but I think that was the only way he knew how to get rid of some of that frustration (besides bringing random women home).
Then, tragedy strikes and Hunter and Lennon's life changed in an instant. How will they continue to live together without the one person that connected them? Truthfully, seeing how they came together to comfort one another and heal from their loss, was so beautiful. The things that Hunter did for Lennon, showed her that he always did care about her and opened her eyes to the man he really was.
As with a duet, you know there is going to be a cliffhanger of some sorts, but there is no way you will see this one coming. Kennedy Fox delivers one heck of a jaw-dropping moment at the end, that truly leaves you going WTF? Baby Yours better hurry up and get here soon, as I really need the next part of the story now!!
