This story was nothing what I expected. You could tell from the beginning that it was a story close to Chelle’s heart. It was one of those stories that pulls at the heartstrings and makes you reflect on your own life. Bruno was big and sexy but he had a softer, sweeter, romantic side. Callie was independent and stubborn but she was a fighter. Even with secrets lingering these two found a way to bring light into each other’s lives. These two were meant to be with each other.

I loved that this story was the unexpected. It had you on a roller coaster of emotions never wanting to get off. I was on the edge of my seat wanting to know more. To know there was light at the end of the darkness.


I applaud Chelle for writing this book with so much emotion and giving us a book that won’t leave you even after the last page.
