Maybe his past had finally gotten the message.

“Can I get you something to drink?” Becca asked, following closely behind as he left the dressing room and headed for the set.

“No, thanks, darlin’. I’m good.”

The shoot was for Red Dog men’s fragrance. Something he’d never smelled or worn in his life. Fragrance, even scented soap, brought out his musk, and he couldn’t have that. The fact that he didn’t wear what he was selling didn’t seem to bother the company heads, though. Hell, they were giving him the billboard in Times Square. It was his biggest score yet, and despite the exposure issue—which would drive him underground for a year or so—he should be happy as a pig in shit. After all, the payday would fill his bank account to the brim, not to mention buy him that little house in Athens he had his eye on—the one that could serve as his “underground.” But happiness was not something he considered possible. Inside the Wildlands or living among the humans. Once stolen and ravaged, an emotion like that, so precious, so rare, was gone forever.

“All right, Simon?” the photographer called over to him.

Simon assessed the set. Craggy brick wall, gray concrete floors, plush red velvet couch. He headed for the red velvet and dropped to his knees before it. Instantly, the photographer started clicking away. He moved lithely through poses: arms stretched out wide, head falling back, check resting on the cushion, eyes eating up the lens…

Strange job, modeling. But it spoke, and encouraged, every facet of the…Goddess, could he even think the words anymore?

The Pantera within him.

Yes, he supposed he could think of it.

He grinned. His Pantera nature rose to the surface with every fierce look he threw at the camera.

The Pantera’s story continues and gets more interesting with each book in the series. Alexandra Ivy and Laura Wright once again heat up the Bayou with adventure, intrigue and love.

Kayden

Revenge or Love? Which will he chose?

Kayden sets out to avenge his parents deaths after he uncovers information on how they really died. What he doesn’t plan to find is love or his mate.

Bianca has lived a shelter life isolated from most of the world getting treatments for cancer. She should even entertain feelings for her kidnapper but that’s exactly what happens. Kayden makes her feel things she hasn’t ever felt before. Even after taking her from her home he makes her feel safe, protected and loved.

When lies and secrets are revealed Bianca’s eyes are opened to a new world of love and hope while Kayden and the Pantera learn more answers.

Simon

He holds secrets close to his heart. He left the Wildlands a young cub never to return but the leader of the Pantera hasn’t given up on bringing him back. He’s tried to stay hidden, always moving, never allowing Raph to bring him back to the Bayou. There have been many that tried but no one has even come clos to capturing until Tryst.

Tryst is a confident, take-charge female who takes no one’s shit. She’s good at what she does and never fails. With little effort and strength she can take down her hunted. She’s never felt anything remotely what she feels when she’s near Simon.

One needs to release their cat and the other needs release their human. Together they will help each other and their mankind while hopefully their hearts to each other.

Alexandra and Laura have a way of weaving an intriguing story with heat and mystery. They take you on a journey into this mystical world where lives are changed and love is found. We’ve uncovered more of the mystery of the monsters trying to wipe out the Pantera but still need answers on how they will be stopped.

I love being pulled into this world and can’t wait to read more.

Alexandra Ivy - headshotAlexandra Ivy is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author. From Alexandra: “I’m not exactly sure when I fell in love with books. Probably on my mother’s knee listening to her read Dr. Seuss to me. I do remember that I was barely old enough to cross the street by myself when I discovered the delights of the local library.

Could anything be more wonderful than spending summer days surrounded by stacks of Nancy Drew mysteries? Over the years I fell in love with Victoria Holt, Jane Austen, Agatha Christie, and J.R.R. Tolkien just to name a few. I read poetry, essays, biographies, and plays. In fact, I read anything I could get my hands on.

Years later (no, I’m not admitting how many) I’m still an avid reader, and my tastes are still as varied as they were in my youth, which I suppose helps to explain why I enjoy writing regency historicals under the name of Deborah Raleigh, as well as my contemporary paranormals as Alexandra Ivy. For now that is enough to keep me busy, but who knows what the future might hold!

I do have a few other loves in my life besides reading and writing, the most important being my unbelievably patient husband, David, and my two sons, Chance and Alexander. Without their constant support and belief in me, I never could have been able to follow my dreams. They are truly my heroes.

Laura Wright - headshot  Laura Wright is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author. From Laura: “Unlike many of my peers in the writing world, I wasn’t a writer or a reader until I left high school. During my youth I was into theater, song and dance, commercials and boys. I loved romance surely, but I had never read a romance novel until my late teens. With that said, I remember the day I did like it was a moment ago – my aunt gave me the Jude Deveraux novel, Knight in Shining Armor and I couldn’t put it down until the very last word. Then I went straight to the library and got another – then another until I’d read everything she’d ever written. After that, it was McNaught, Howard, Schone, Kleypas, and the Silhouette line, Desire. I instantly loved those emotional, sexy reads, so much so that I began to carve out ideas for my own stories, themes that were unique to me and moved me. In 1997 I enrolled in UCLA extension writing classes, met my mentor and critique partners and since have never stopped writing. I was committed then and I still am now; the need to tell my own romantic stories a full on obsession. My first manuscript was rejected, and though the second one was as well the editor who’d rejected it wanted to see something else from me. I had something (note to authors; always keep working, even after you’ve sent in a proposal) and sent it right away. The day I got the call telling me Desire wanted to buy Cinderella and the Playboy was the best day of my life. That is until I married my husband, and had my two beautiful children. But I must say, writing is much like motherhood – tough, grueling, surprising, delicious and for me, a dream come true.”
