Book Tour & Reviews ~ The Beaumont Series by Heidi McLaughlin

Forever My Girl (#1) – Released Dec 2012
Now being made into a major motion picture
I was never supposed to be a rock star. I had my life all planned out for me. Play football in college. Go to the NFL. Marry my high school sweetheart and live happily ever after.

I broke both our hearts that day when I told her I was leaving. I was young. I made the right decision for me, but the wrong decision for us. I’ve poured my soul into my music, but I’ve never forgotten her. Her smell, her smile.

And now I’m going back.

After ten years.

I hope I can explain that after all this time.

I still want her to be my forever girl.

When his friend tragically passes he must return to his hometown and everything he left behind. A second chance doesn't always happen. Liam left without an explanation and left Josie heartbroken and alone. He left thinking he was making the right choice but then a surprise meeting changes everything he thought was right.

Josie has tried to move on with Nick but she never let go of her first and only love. Is she willing to try again to only be heartbroken again?

This book is about young love and lost. About making life changing choices even if they may not be right. It's about second chances and finding what was missing. It's about lost love and new love.

I couldn't put this book down and can't wait to see where life takes these two.

My Everything (#1.5) – Released March 2013
When Nick Ashford lost his friend, Mason, he didn’t realize he was going to lose his family as well, but that’s exactly what happened. Alone and in a foreign country, Nick is working on rebuilding his life one patient at a time, that is, until a striking volunteer makes her presence known.

Can Nick finish his year in Africa without risking his heart being broken again, or is he willing to start a new chapter in his life before his return to Beaumont?

I didn't want to read this. Nick was my least favorite character but I took that chance. It was an unexpected surprise. A good surprise. Nick had good intentions, he really did but sometimes it's the way he went about it that was wrong. It was time for him to find his happily every after. I really enjoyed this story and a little more insight into the workings of Nick.

My Unexpected Forever (#2) – Released Sept 2013
I expected a life of music.
I expected to raise my son.
It took one look to make everything change.
I never expected happiness.

I never expected to find her.
I never expected to feel desire.
I never expected I’d be a family man.
I never expected to be loved.
I never expected to fall in love.

They say you should expect the unexpected, I didn’t realize my unexpected would be the forever kind.
What you see isn't necessarily what you get. Harrison may be covered in tattoos head to toe and have a hard sexy body but he's a softy underneath.

Harrison is caring and sweet and always looking out for other's feelings, especially Katelyn & the girls. Never once has he made Katelyn or her daughter's feel like he was replacing Mason. He always included them and put them first along with his own son.

This man was the epitome of swoon worthy. Did I mention he's also covered in tattoos and sexy as hell? he's the whole package and more.

Katelyn and Harrison's relationship wasn't easy. But then again who's is when you're trying to move on without forgetting your past. Always remembering the memories of a love past.

Together these two waddle through this thing called love. Harrison is new to it while Katelyn never thought it would happen to her again in her lifetime.

You'll definitely need tissues for the memories of Mason. While maybe an extra pair of panties waiting also. I mean after you read a certain motorcycle scene you'll be hot. I mean damn that was sexy and hot and I want my own Harrison.

all in all I LOVED this book and Harrison is my new favorite of 4225 West family. Heidi will take you on a ride of emotions you won't want to get off. She knows how to write a story that pulls so many emotions from you.

I look forward to more of this series and what Heidi has in store for the Beaumont Crew.

Finding My Forever (#3) – Released Dec 2013
Everywhere I look, my friends are settling down - marriage, children, white picket fences; but not me. Marriage isn't in the cards for me. I’m a ladies man.

A rock star.

I was born and raised in the industry.

I love everything about my life, especially the attention from the women that my status brings me.
Women find me. I don’t chase. I know what they want and they know I’ll deliver.

But after one look, one touch, one night...
Now I’m the one doing the chasing.

I need to find a way to show her that I’m serious, that I can change.
I need to find a way to show her that I can love her fully, and only her.
I need to find a way to show her that she’s my forever.

What can I say about this book. With each book in these series Heidi brings another sexy rocker into our lives. Jimmy is no exception. He doesn't want to be like his father but past relationships have burned Jimmy and he's just afraid to let himself love again. That is until Jenna.

They both have exes who have little to be desired and are afraid to commit but with each other they can grow and overcome those insecurities and try to be the best they can be together.

Heidi pulls you in from the first page to the last and I couldn't put this one down. I just had to know what was going to happen and if they would find their HEA.

This is a must read as well as the rest of the Beaumont Series!

Finding My Way (#4) – Released April 2014

Liam Westbury has the world at his feet. He’s the quintessential golden boy. He’s the superstar quarterback for Beaumont High. His girl, Josie, is head cheerleader. He has his choice of colleges just waiting for him. Except he’s suffocating from all the pressure he’s under and no one understands.

Liam Page is the heartthrob he never wanted to be. He’s successful, smart and in demand by record companies and his adoring fans. Music is his passion, his love, but something’s missing. His nights are lonely and he longs for the girl he left behind. Seeing her in every face in the crowd haunts him with the knowledge that she hates him. Going home has never been an option until now.

Be there when Liam Westbury becomes Liam Page and follow the highs and lows of the Quarterback turned Rockstar as he finds a way back to Beaumont in this prequel to Forever My Girl.

I loved this book. It was a great insight into what really happened before Forever My Girl and what Liam went through. Even with that being said in my opinion I would recommend if someone hasn't read the series that they read this first. Only because as I read this knowing the end basically made it that much heart wrenching. I hated Sam even before it came to her part of the book.

My heart broke with each page I read for Liam but knowing the final outcome helped. It was also nice to see Mason with the crowd. I wanted to cry knowing what was to come. And oh the sexy Harrison and his bonding with Quinn. My heart melted just a little more for him.

This was a great complement to the series and would recommend this.

12 Days of Forever (#4.5) – Released Feb 2015

Even though she’s living her life-long dream and dancing on Broadway, the city is a lonely place for Yvie James. The holidays are both her favorite time of the year and the worst. A last minute decision puts Yvie in Beaumont to spend time with her family.

Alexander Knight is new to Beaumont, but he’s making the best of it. His dream of running a successful business is within his grasp, and Xander has a dedicated client base most trainers vie for. On the surface, Xander is happy, but he works long hours for nothing more than to avoid going home to an empty house.

Thrown together for Christmas shopping, holiday gatherings with friends and family, and a special anniversary party, Yvie and Xander find themselves seeking solace in each other for an unforgettable, romantic winter.

I originally read in the 'All I Want' anthology. Now with new added material it is just as good if not better then before.

This is Yvie & Xander's story.

We are transported back to Beaumont at Christmas time to spend with family and friends. Xander is the new guy to the group. He's a sexy gym owner and friends with the 4225 West families. Yvie is Harrison's little sister and she's homesick. Trying to figure out if her dreams are still hers.

The both give in to their attraction all the while not really a couple but more 'friends.' Even though my heart tells me these two are made for each other.

This is the story of their 12 days of letting go and living in the moment. Their 12 days leads to more.

I really hope Heidi has another book for these two because I still believe their story hasn't ended.

I love this series and can't wait for more.

My Kind of Forever (#5) – Released Sept 2015

Liam Page knows music and a life of solitude, but that all changed when he returned to Beaumont.

The once notorious bad boy lead singer of 4225 West is now living the domesticated life with his wife and high school sweetheart, Josie, and their son, Noah.

Life is good for the Westbury family, until Liam is called back to Los Angeles and the place where it all started for him.

Liam and Josie’s story continues in this last installment of The Beaumont Series.

As I said before Heidi McLaughlin knows how to write a GREAT book! No matter what type of story she writes she always writes a story that pulls you in and keeps you on the edge of your seat till the very last page.

Liam and Josie are finally together and are on a quest for their forever. This story was a roller coaster ride of emotions. At times I wanted to tell Josie to buck up but at other times I knew if I was in her shoes I’d have similar reactions. Who wouldn’t with your husband’s past thrown in your face?

This book wasn't shy of agnst and drama but still had the love and heat from a good romance. There was no way to put it down.

I almost threw my Kindle and was ready to hunt Heidi down but then I knew in my heart that could never happen. Heidi did the ending justice as I knew she would. Although I’m sad this is the last book this was the perfect ending to the Beaumont Series!
