The sexy and
emotional companion novella to the New
York Times bestselling romance HERO.
Nadia
Ray is not just a broadcast meteorologist. She’s Boston’s morning television It
Girl. Successful and independent, she’s put a past she’s ashamed of behind her
and is forging a future she can be proud of. However, when her new boss discovers
her secret he blackmails her, intent on using Nadia’s popularity to make them
the number one morning show in Massachusetts. He wants her to be part of
uncovering the city’s biggest scandal - a secret billionaire Caine Carraway is
hiding.
Soon
Nadia is thrown into the path of Caine’s best friend: sexy, wealthy bachelor
Henry Lexington. But she doesn’t encounter the dashing high society gentleman
Henry is purported to be. Instead she’s faced with an insulting and defensive
villain who misjudges her at every turn.
When
Henry finally realizes the truth, and decides to make amends, Nadia wants
nothing to do with him. But she underestimates his determination and charm and
soon they find themselves embroiled in an intense, passionate affair.
An
affair Nadia knows must come to an end before their feelings grow any deeper
and he discovers her secrets.
After
all, Henry Lexington isn’t the only one who played the part of a villain once…
What a sexy and emotional story packed in this short
novella. Samantha Young never skimps on story. She can pull you in and keep you
wrapped up a story till the very end.
This was a little sweet, a little sexy and a whole lot of
alpha hotness. It’s such a sexy story when the man chases the woman. Nadia made
Henry work for it. And when they came together it was nothing short of
combustible.
This was such a beautiful, emotional read with lots of
intense passion and heart. Samantha Youn knows how to write romance to fill the
heart.
EXCERPT:
If I was going to be honest with myself, I was
discounting sex with the guy because of Henry Goddamn Lexington.
I desperately tried to shake him off. If I gave James
a chance, something could develop between us and I wouldn’t give a rat’s ass
that I weighed twice as much as he did. He obviously couldn’t care less, if the
way he kept running his eyes over me when he thought I wasn’t looking was
anything to go by.
“I was concentrating on my career for a while,” I
finally replied. “But I need to start prioritizing my personal life too.”
“I get it.” He nodded. “After my divorce I realized
how little time I’d prioritized my personal life. It was why my ex left me. I
knew then I had to make some changes.”
“So … you didn’t want to get divorced?” I asked tentatively.
James shrugged. “I know it’s for the best now. But at
the time, I was pretty wrecked by it.”
“Haven’t you ever considered trying a reconciliation
with your ex?”
He frowned at me and I flushed, realizing what a
stupid thing it was to say on a date. “Well … she started dating pretty
quickly.”
“So she’s seeing someone.”
“No. They broke up a few months ago.”
“Maybe you should talk to her.”
“Okay, wait.” He held up a hand. “Are you counseling
me to get back together with my ex on our first date?”
“It does sound like it,” a deep, familiar voice said
from behind me.
I tensed.
No. Way.
James looked beyond my shoulder and not wanting to but
drawn to, I half turned in the booth to find Henry sitting in the one directly
behind me.
Our faces were so close it took me a second to
recognize the anger burning in the back of his blue eyes. It was still there
even as he flashed me a cocky grin and stood. “Mind if I join you?” he said,
and sat down beside me, forcing me along the booth.
This was not happening!
How was this happening?
He was supposed to be in Panama or Seattle or
something!
“Henry Lexington,” he held out his hand to James who
shook it in bemusement. “A friend of Nadia’s.”
“Nice to meet you.”
“You too. Although to be honest, I’m surprised to meet
you.” I could feel him looking at me but I stared
straight ahead at James. I was beyond tense, bracing myself for what Henry was
about to say or do. “I was under the impression Nadia was off the market.”
My jaw almost hit the table.
He did not just say that.
James looked between Henry and me. The smart man
cottoned on extremely quickly. “Look, I don’t want to get in the middle of
something.” He slid out of the booth and pulled out his wallet but Henry
stopped him.
“Let me pay for your lunch. Compensation for a colossal
waste of your time.”
The anger slipped out in his words and James paused.
He looked at me. “Nadia, are you okay with this guy?”
I gave him a weak smile, grateful that he’d asked.
“I’m sorry, James. Henry and I have a little unfinished business. I didn’t mean
for you to get caught in the middle.”
“As long as you’re okay?”
I nodded and he pulled out money from his wallet and
threw it on the table, despite Henry’s offer. “It was nice to meet you anyway.”
“You’re a gentleman,” I said as he walked away. And he
was.
Why did I have to be attracted to the asshat beside me
and not the one who was walking away?
I didn’t even have to look at Henry to be overwhelmed
by him. He was so much bigger than me in the booth, his heat and anger pulsing
as he pressed his knee against mine.
“Look at me,” he seethed.
Not wanting to be a coward, I finally did and winced
at the awful look on his face. “Henry—”
“You can either play this out in public—and I can’t
promise it won’t get loud—or you can get that sexy-as-fuck ass of yours out of
this booth and into my car. Your choice.”
“That’s not much of a choice,” I snapped.
“Nadia …” he warned between gritted teeth.
With an exaggerated, exasperated sigh, I grabbed my
purse and nudged him with my knee. He got out and despite his anger, he held
out his hand, helping me up out of the booth. As soon as I was on my feet, his
fingers curled tight around mine.
There was no hope of escape.

Brock and Lyndie’s story was a beautifully sweet emotional
story. It was a lighthearted and sexy romance. It was fun and flirty with a
side of chemistry and heat. I really
couldn’t get enough of their story.
Brock had so many layers. He was tender and sweet but also a
sexy alpha male. Lyndie was a super sweet woman who just needed the right man
to bring out her inner vixen. These two may have married out of convenience but
they truly were the perfect together. I loved watching them move out of their
comfort zones and grow and let their emotions guide them.
This was an all around feel good book that you can read in
one sitting. It was well written with characters that had depth and character.
It was a sweet, fluffy contemporary romance with lots of heat and a little
angst.
EXCERPT:
“But… marriage? ”Lyndie asked. “I promised myself I’d never do the whole legal-ties thing again.” Straight white teeth nibbled on her bottom lip. “How long would our marriage last?”
“I don’t know exactly.” Anticipation blended with excitement, driving Brock mad in the best possible way. So close to victory! “I’ll need to find the employees of the Hud and Son Group new jobs before I dismantle the company. There will be no collateral damage on my watch.” The employees were innocent, and he wouldn’t leave them in the lurch. “If I had to guess, I’d say a month. Maybe two, but not likely.”
Her beautiful lips shaped the words, One month.
His father’s will had two stipulations: Brock had to be married in order to run the business and, if he planned to continue running it, he had to remain married.
Daddy Dearest had used the perfect bait. Miranda’s downfall. He’d known Brock would seethe as he imagined his mother rich, happy, and carefree.
What Brock hadn’t yet comprehended? Why his father cared about his relationship status at all. What made his father think a commitment would “bring him out of the darkness and into the light?”
Thankfully—and shockingly—there’d been no requirements for Brock’s wife. No “proper” pedigree. No reputation above reproach. No set family worth. The very requirements for the girls he’d dated in high school.
Little wonder he’d always gravitated toward wild, tattooed biker babes.
Lyndie was an anomaly, everything he’d never wanted but now had to have.
She gulped. “Would we live together?”
“Yes. For the sake of appearances, but also because your safety and peace of mind matter to me.” He would be on his best behavior. Would sidestep any conversations about the terrible things he’d done in the past. She would never know how much blood stained his hands. “I will continue to protect you from Rick Lambert. From anyone who threatens you.”
Her shoulders rolled in. “I’m a magnet for crazies, aren’t I?”
“Scottie, you’re a magnet, period.”
She drew in a deep breath, slowly released it. “I’m shocked to admit this, but I like the idea of having you here… which makes me notwant to have you here. I can’t learn to rely on you. I must rely on myself.”
Craved her independence? “What if I promise not to ever cook your meals or clean the house or do anything gentlemanly?”
The corners of her mouth twitched. “That would help, yes.”
Closer still!
“We’d have to sleep in separate bedrooms though. I’m not going to get used to your warmth.” Twin pink circles stained her cheeks. A flush of embarrassment… or pleasure? “But, uh, just to be clear,” she said, and gulped, “you will want to have sex with me, yes?”
His excitement deflated. Did she not want to have sex with him? “Yes. I will. I do. I hope you’ll want to have sex with me.” Many times. Every night. “If you allow me into your bed, I will make your pleasure a top priority. But I will expect nothing, and I will never pressure you for something you aren’t willing to give. The money will be yours whether we sleep together or not.”
Her breath hitched. Her pupils grew, black spilling over amber. Her nails dug into her knees, as if… no way. As if she had to stop herself from reaching for him.
He went still. She wanted him. Lyndie Scott wanted him.
Do not pound your chest like a gorilla.
“I don’t want your money, Brock.”
Heart thudding against his ribs, he opened his mouth to tell her that he’d give her anything. If she wanted him to beg, he would beg. He had no pride. Not with her.
Shoulders squared, she added, “I want your sperm.”
Uh, what the what now? His brain short-circuited.
Groaning, she hunched over to anchor her elbows on her knees and cover her face with her upraised hands.
“I think I misheard you,” he rasped, but deep down realization had begun to click. Lyndie Scott had caught the baby fever. She might agree to marry him, but she expected a child in return.

Sawyer wasn’t kidding when she said this one was a hot and
dirty one. And I absolutely LOVED every minute of it. I want to be Simone when
I grow up. She has lady balls and goes after what she wants and she has her
eyes on Van. Poor Van didn’t have a chance. I loved her confidence and
sexiness.
But this story wasn’t all about the sexy times. And believe
me there were A LOT of sexy times. This was heartfelt and moving too. It was
emotional and pulled on the heart strings. It was an utterly beautiful romantic
story.
“My first …
everything.”
I about melted into a puddle with that line. Van thought he
was closed off and couldn’t love but Simone showed him he was so much more.
This series just gets better with each book and I can’t wait
for more!

As the youngest and most talented son of the NHL Commissioner, Matty had found the burden of family expectations almost too heavy to carry on even his broad shoulders. He had no intention of getting involved in a relationship with Wells. But the heart he’d given up for dead had other ideas.
Their affair was intense and overwhelming, but when Matty couldn’t bring himself to come out and admit he wanted a public future with the man he loved, Wells had no choice but to honor his vow to live openly…and leave Matty behind.
But then he learns Wells is marrying another, and Matty knows he can't let that happen. Can he throw down his gloves and embrace his future with both hands? Or will he pull the door to his closet shut once more?
Toni absolutely out did herself with her first M/M story. She gave Matty and Wells the perfect second chance romance pulling on those heart strings and leaving a special place in my heart for these two.
Their story was so much more than just a second chance romance. This was a story of redemption and sacrifice. It was a story about finally letting your fears go and being who you really are.
I was not a fan of Matty in the beginning but I gave him the benefit of the doubt because I really disliked Alex. As the story went on I realized that like Matty there are probably so many other men and boys who fear how society will judge and treat them. It’s how our world works. Toni truly wrote a compelling, relatable story.
I love how Toni can weave her characters and series together creating a phenomenal story. If you’ve read Toni’s previous books then you’ll know that Matty and Wells’ story spans over many books and Toni weaved their story so we got glimpses of other angles like from In the Crease.
This book will give you all the feels. You will not be disappointed with the story Toni wrote and will be flipping those pages to fall in love with that story faster. Don’t be scared because it’s M/M because gah … Toni can write romance and this was no exception. Kuddos to her for another amazing story.
My name is Toni Aleo and I’m a total dork.
I am a wife, mother of two and a bulldog, and also a hopeless romantic.
I am the biggest Shea Weber fan ever, and can be found during hockey season with my nose pressed against the Bridgestone Arena’s glass, watching my Nashville Predators play!
When my nose isn’t pressed against the glass, I enjoy going to my husband and son’s hockey games, my daughter’s dance competition, hanging with my best friends, taking pictures, scrapbooking, and reading the latest romance novel.
I have a slight Disney and Harry Potter obsession, I love things that sparkle, I love the color pink, I might have been a Disney Princess in a past life… probably Belle.
… and did I mention I love hockey?

Title: Reservations
Author: Kindle Alexander
Genre: M/M Romance
Release Date: October 30, 2017
Amazon Review - ““Reservations” by Kindle Alexander is a rare gem in the world of M/M Romance, because it is genuinely compelling story telling!”
Amazon Review - “Thane & Levi stole my heart!!”
Amazon Review - “Thane and Levi!! Simply amazing”
Amazon Review - “A beautifully written love story that is guaranteed to melt you heart!”
Wildly successful entrepreneur, Thane Walker is stubbornly set in his ways. Adamantly resistant to the shackles of commitment, he’s seen enough unhappy endings to learn the best way to play is by keeping his men on the payroll.
Levi Silva’s dream of graduating from one of the country’s top medical schools is in his grasp, until news from home changes everything. Now, he’s raising his two teenage brothers and trying to keep everyone’s head above water, emotionally and financially.
When Levi’s new job puts him in Thane’s path, their chemistry explodes, but their fear of being involved in relationships keeps them apart. Unfortunately, despite the intense desire drawing them together, neither man can move forward until they get past their own…Reservations.
The writing duo of Kindle Alexander is my go to author for
the M/M genre. Once again they wrote an intriguing story to pull you in and
keep you turning those pages. It was a lighter, fluffy romantic story with
little angst and a lot of heat.
I loved the connection between Thane and Levi as well as the
buildup. We have your usual rich business man who wants to control everything
and the struggling man trying to make ends meet. I absolutely loved that Levi
never backed down from what he believed. He always strived to do what was best
never taking what was right in front of him.
With each page you saw a deeper connection between Thane and
Levi. It was a story of connection and love. It was a story of finding your
special someone and trusting your heart. It was heartwarming and touching.
I’m not gonna lie this wasn’t my favorite book from the duo
but I liked it none the less and I would totally recommend reading it. I am so
looking forward to Juilian’s book. He deserves a HEA.
Best Selling Author Kindle Alexander is an innovative writer, and a genre-crosser who writes classic fantasy, romance, suspense, and erotica in both the male/male and male/female genres. It's always a surprise to see what's coming next!
I live in the suburbs of Dallas where it's true, the only thing bigger than an over active imagination, may be women's hair!
Usually, I try for funny. Humor is a major part of my life - I love to laugh, and it seems to be the thing I do in most situations - regardless of the situation, but jokes are a tricky deal... I don't want to offend anyone and jokes tend to offend. So instead I'm going to tell you about Kindle.
I tragically lost my sixteen year old daughter to a drunk driver. She had just been at home, it was early in the night and I heard the accident happen. I'll never forget that moment. The sirens were immediate and something inside me just knew. I left my house, drove straight to the accident on nothing more than instinct. I got to be there when my little girl died - weirdly, I consider that a true gift from above. She didn't have to be alone.
That time in my life was terrible. It's everything you think it would be times about a billion. I love that kid. I loved being her mother and I loved watching her grow into this incredibly beautiful person, both inside and out. She was such a gift to me. To have it all ripped away so suddenly broke me.
Her name was Kindle. Honest to goodness - it was her name and she died a few weeks before Amazon released their brand new Kindle ereader. She had no idea it was coming out and she would have finally gotten her name on something! Try finding a ruler with the name Kindle on it.. It never happened.
Through the course of that crippling event I was lucky enough to begin to write with a dear friend in the fan fiction world of Facebook. She got me through those dark days with her unwavering support and friendship. There wasn't a time she wasn't there for me. Sometimes together and sometimes by myself, we built a world where Kindle lives and stands for peace, love and harmony. It's its own kind of support group. I know without question I wouldn't be here today without her.
